Each of Jerry’s pieces reflects his love of color and his ability to use it to create dynamic, high impact pieces that both decorate and delight. His work has been sold worldwide and is included in representative displays of contemporary American art in a number of museums abroad as well as in the U.S. Living and working in Florida, his art has been chosen by the corporate community to commemorate conventions, the cover page of local phone books, and several limited edition artist series labels for San Sebastian winery. In addition a number of his award winning works have been used for charitable fund raising including funding for Olympic athletes from the state of Florida.
Lanham, a self-taught artist, has lived a life as colorful as his art and the techniques he employs. In 2001, Sunshine Artist, " America’s Premier Show and Festival Magazine" showcased the story of Jerry’s art career….from the early days of painting in his garage and selling locally door to door…to a time where his work has been published , sold worldwide and sought after by collectors who have followed his career.
